Running
the operation is Owner Dave Lawson
who started the company back in 1981 in
his garage with a few customers and a
head full of dreams. Building on the
reputation of his work over the years,
Dave takes an active and important part
in his thriving business.
At any
given time, you could find him on a job
site going over plans with new owners
and checking out progress with
construction. In the office, he can be
seen meeting with new customers, creating new
home designs with his drafter or managing the business end of the
operation.
Dave is most
proud of his team members, who
except for the two young men that were
recently hired, have been with him for
many years, in fact a combined total of
over 75 years of excellent work and service. |

And behind
another desk in the office is Sue
Distaso -- Lawson Construction's
wonder woman! With the company since
1988, Sue serves as office manager,
bookkeeper, human resource manager and
receptionist.
But that
is just a start. Growing in her
knowledge of the construction industry
over the years, Sue now does the project
scheduling, reads blueprints and
consults with subcontractors and crew on
a daily basis. In addition, once the
design decision is made, she assists the
customers in making choices on features
such as carpeting, tile and appliances.
